yeah good point. But it was a block and if their heads didn't touch, nothing happens. Zero malice. But what if parker came off second best from the head clash, does the other player get games? Obviously not, but you know what i mean

In today's game I think 4 would have been suitable

However he didn't exactly line the opponent up, he stopped and tried to lay a bump, all whilst the ball was in the 5m radius.

Players dont protect themselves anymore, this should be taken into account. Surely you have a responsibility to protect yourself from harm as well. Very much a grey area though. What if the VFL player saw Parker coming and braced himself, maybe left the ground to bump Parker and Parker ends up with the broken jaw?? This is the problem when you penalise the outcome
