Thanks for clarifying ;)

Watching Armfield try to play footy was sometimes akin to watching Denuto try to practice law, so its an easy mistake to make.

I reckon Nicksy may have borrowed a famous quote from the same movie to use on Saturday night after your game.

Boys, you haven’t let anyone down. I don’t know what the opposite of lettin’ someone down is… but you done the opposite.

On a side note, in how many Port Supporting households was this line trotted out before they could jump in the Commodore and head to Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.

Darryl: “Oh Steve, could you move the Camira? I need to get the Torana out so I can get to the Commodore.”

Steve: “I'll have to get the keys to the Cortina if I'm gonna move that Camira.”

Shae Bolton and Daniel Rioli got into fight while out over the weekend, Bolton injured wrist and out for few weeks. He has been in career best form so big out for Richmond.

The obvious conclusion is the wheels are falling off at Tigerland, and the hunger is gone, etc.

I get the feeling though that this sort of incident brings them together and they will get on a rampage again.

Which way it ends up going will be very interesting!!

Very poor timing for both.
Bolton could've snuck a brownlow.

Chris Judd was the best player in the comp at the time and would do that trade again tomorrow
It has turned into a very good trade for west coast due to Kennedys very good career
Carlton didnt want to get rid of Kennedy but have to give up something, as he was a young key forward but not yet a star
Pretty sure Port would give up Georgiades or Marshall (young developing forwards) for Martin, Petracca or Bont

We can only hope Georgiades or Marshall end up being as good as Kennedy.

Key forwards, like Kennedy are so bloody hard to find.
Midfielder fall off trees.
Granted, Judd was elite but I think West Coast got the better deal.
Tough call though and makes for interesting debate.

Pound for pound both sides have won out of the trade.

Judd carried Carlton's midfield for years, gave them a marquee player to use in promotions etc. ( at Carlton ) Brownlow, 4 x AA, 3 x BnF and then onto the panel running football.

Kennedy has led West Coast to a flag, 7 x leading goal kicker, 2 Coleman, 3 x AA.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.
