here ladies, gents and others is your safe space to unload venom on the AFL for whatever you please.

many of us are sick of the ineptness of the muppets in charge and i'm sure we arent the only ones, let loose with a tirade of passion for our game and nothing will happen but you will feel better for the rant!

goal review system

the goal review system is ridiculous now because it has given goal umpires an excuse to not make calls anymore, how many times have you seen a somewhat disputable call and the goal umpire doesnt make the call, they look aound for the field umpire straight away.

you know what you overpaid flag waving numpty, get in the right position and make a friggin call! thats your job. then if someone debates it, send it upstairs but dont you be the one to instigate the review

secondly for the goal review system to work just put a small camera inside the goal post, it . Seriously 1 camera for each goal post, thats 4 cameras per venue over 18 stadiums, thats 72 cameras.

now lets be generous and say that for the camera itself, the cabling and installation etc costs $15,000 per stadium, thats $270,000. surely it couldnt be that difficult and with a gazillion $$$ TV rights deal it would be fodder. just scrape a little dregs out of the bottom of Andy D's bonus cup and we'd have it covered 10 times over!
