Should Geelong thank Hawthorn for delisting Gary Ablett snr all those years ago, coz without that GA jnr wouldn't have ended up at Geelong under father/son rule then helping them to win 2 flags with him & 1 after he left or is that too long a bow to draw.

Might have been handy in 1984, 85 or 87. Could have been seven in a row.
