Fremantle will rightly start massive favourites. Like Hawthorn, they will be cherry ripe. Fremantle can go all the way imo. Very well coached.

At least this week the final will be played on a proper football ground.
They cant be allowed to hold games at ANZ until its sorted out, disgraceful conditions

Don't get me wrong, the surface contributed nada to the end result, but as a spectacle, it was disgraceful. The AFL would like to have some assurance that that doesn't happen again. It just wasn't a good look for the premier football competition in this country.

I can't believe after 13 years they still haven't got it right. It's an outdoor stadium ffs. How hard is it too grow some grass.

Think mowing it os more the issue.
ANZ is used mainly by the NRL so they are going to cater for their biggest tennant. Rugby requires longer grass so they are not going to cater for 1 game of AFL.
I hope that the SCG gets upgraded enough so the Swans can tell ANZ Stadium to piss off

Didn't the commentators say there was a rugby game the night before & some turf had to be relaid in the morning. It wasn't good but I don't think it affected the result. Sydney were just too good.

Didnt affect the result but was poor too see.
A couple of injuries directly related to the poor surface.

Oh well with Centrals out of the running in the SANFL I'm gettin' on the Freo bandwagon.

Lee Spurr for the Norm Smith! (assuming Freo get there of course)

You'd expect Chapman to get one, and Johnson will get 4-5 for his elbow to Boaks face on the half time siren

WTF??
Wines' rushed kick in a pack hit Boak straight in the face.

you may want to watch it again

Still didn't see it. Can you pin point the exact second?
