One blokes played 100 more games than the other. Would be better to compare their first 70 games.

Roughead atm for sure, in 100 games time who knows where Taylor will be.

How does their first 70 games stack up against each other?

Probably a true reflection of the versatility of Roughead as opposed to Tex being a genuine Forward.

I'm a one eyed crows supporter and I chose Roughy, only because he is more versatile. They are two different players. Tex is a genuine forward, he doesn't run through the ruck or on the ball. Apples and oranges and an unfair comparison. Of course you would choose someone who can move through three positions rather than one.

I believe the comment was made by yourself days that Tex and Rory Sloane would be good depth players at the hawks. Those sorts of comments are what annoys opposition supporters. Hence why you started this poll

In all seriousness though I don't think tex would suit the hawthorn forward set up and would struggle to get a game unless he added versatility to his game.

They barely have a permanent forward Buddy being the closest thing but even he very occasionally runs through the midfield and plays higher at the ground.

The likes of Roughhead, Gunston, Hale, Bruest all run through different positions and tend to play pretty high up the park for the majority of the game

Walker and J Reiwoldt would have been a better "who's better".

So who does Walker push out at the Hawks?
No one therefore good depth player
Sloanes kicking isnt fantastic therefore IMO would struggle to get a game with Clarko

I tend to agree about Sloane

I think his a really good footballer and a potential jet, his better than a few of the hawks midfielders

BUT

I reckon the attribute Clarkson looks for the most in a footballer is kicking efficiency which Sloane struggled at.

Clarksons game plan requires precision kicking and Sloane doesnt fit that mould, the only role I would see Sloane fitting is the defensive forward role Pupuolo plays.

Sloane would be a perfect fit for the Swans imho

Some Dumb Crows supporters out there.

That exactly what started the argument.
Was only ever going to be the most one-eyed Crow supporter that would think Tex is better

Roughy is a gun, if I was GWS id be chasing him before Buddy

Yep me too, but Roughy doesnt have what they need, they need a big profile player, if they miss out on buddy who would be next to target in terms of marketability. I dont think there is anyone that would get the publicity they need unless they poached a Swans player

No way. GWS got Cameron, Patton and will get Boyd. I would only take buddy.
