Round 14 Collingwood @ AAMI. Loss- The pies have recruited smartly and will account for us easily.
Round 15 Essendon @ Etihad. Loss- Essendon to get the job done here.
Round 16 Hawthorn @ AAMI. Loss- Would be stoked if we got within 5 goals of hawthorn, too many stars for us to counter.
Round 17 St. Kilda @ Etihad. Win- I like our chances against the saints, think we match up evenly and might be another 50/50 contest we can win.
Round 18 Brisbane @ AAMI. Loss- I expect Brisbane to improve this year and get the job done.
Round 19 Adelaide @ AAMI. Loss- Crows will have the fitness over a young and tiring port adelaide side at this stage of the season.
Round 20 Geelong @ Simonds. Loss- No chance.

Looks like it will be a bit of a hard slog for 2 months.

Certainly will be Trader. If we can jag Essendon, Brisbane and even Adelaide it will provide a huge morale boost going forward, but i suspect Sydney, Collingwood and Hawthorn will set us in our place, therefore making the games against Brisbane and Adelaide very tough for us to win. If Ken has improved our mental strength over the off-season however, these are the games in which he will set us up to have a real crack and hopefully get the chocolates.

Great first game for Neade, better than Hitchcock already.

More importantly the TEAM looked fantastic!
Bring on game 2.

was always going to happen, we were as knacked in game three as St Kilda were in game two. The way we fought the game out though impressed me

True the boys did look dead on there feet but played it out till the end. Back to back games in that heat was always going to be a factor as seen with St Kilda in game 2

Squad for this weekends game.

Hinkley has all but said Port will use the remainder of the NAB to test the depth of the squad rather than push for the grand final- judging by the side that will play melbourne..

Im fine with this. Young lads need the game time and exposure to league footy and if we suffer injuries, hopefully the lads who get a taste of it can adapt a little quicker.

After a good week off the field, lets hope the club puts in a decent effort in the heat on Saturday night against the Eagles in Alice Springs.

wins over Eagles and Swans, I know they were trials but still better a win than 10+ goal losses.
