Are the Eagles going to peak at the best time of year?

Im really hoping they will. They sent players for surgery early in the year all for a tilt at the finals. This time last year, i thought we were out on feet, the Eagles have approached this year totally different i think/hope

Really hoping its weagles v freo week 1 of the finals for nothing other than hype and atmosphere. Have they played in a final before?

I don't reckon they have as Freo hasn't played in all that many finals. In 2003 they played Essendon and lost to a standing ovation. In 2006 they went top four and played against Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne. In 2010 they played Hawthorn and Geelong.
