Embarassing, skills are woeful and most of the guys look totally disinterested.
Lucky the Tigers let us the hook tonight, a decent side would of beaten our rabble by 100.
Season cant come to an end quick enough
Collingwood next week, can see a 20 goal loss coming up

Heppell doesn't look right to me.
I'm sure there is a very good explanation along with the depleted side but recently he's started to look like the next Andrew Raines.

2nd year blues, opposition coaches have him sussed out and he has to adapt his game. Far from our worst though this season

What do Bombers fans think of the Hird era so far then? Knights copped a lot of criticism but as an impartial outsider I'm not sure the team looks any more likely as a contender or has much less injuries that before. Unfair?

A lot more injuries this season than ever before. Still not convinced Hird is the right guy, never been a fan of a club legend coaching at their old club but am prepared to give him another season. When Hird and Bomber took over they admitted the club was miles behind most other clubs in terms of facilities, fitness and many other key areas. 2 years into a 5 year plan so there would need to be a fair improvement next season, the way the club has faded in the last half of the season for the second year running is a major concern though.
Also paying the price for terrible recruiting

Choco is the long term target if the Hird/Thompson experiment fails. Thompson has little or no interest in a senior coaching role if you believe what he said on Foxsports recently.

I once heard him say that he had lost the passion for coaching in any capacity and therefore didn't want to honour his contract at Geelong as he wanted to spend time relaxing with his family........That was short-lived.

I don't think you could go past Bomber though, you don't get called "Bomber" for nothing, Knights was an outsider and he was a failure, Hirdy had them looking the goods early this season but couldn't get them to sustain their form, probably need to review their training regime aswell.

That's a good call. I think you are probably correct Lightning
