Obviously haven't umpired, you blow the whistle to get the players attention then proceed with the request. You'd spew if your player got a 50 against him for not getting back because he didn't hear the umpire.

I dont think any one of the reviews gave a definitive answer, the same during todays game. Get rid of it and go with the goal umpire. Who cares what the boundary umpires think they got one terribly wrong in Rich/Melb game
