Free Agency

With the article in todays paper re Free Agency I had a look at the list for next year of players who are eligible

Really only Jared Rivers stood out as could/would fill a spot for AFC.... OUr Midfield is strong, FWD and Ruck options seem solid and only key defence really lacking depth

He has missed alot of footy with injury and prob has 4 or so more years left, could definately be handy when the Truck gives it away

Thoughts?

FS, listening to McDermott this morning on his views, he thinks blokes like Griffin, who could come back tomorrow if he wishes, would not fit in the salary cap, given that Danger, Tippett, Sloan have all re signed and no doubt we would be near our 100% with what it has taken to resign. Rivers very much at back end of career, but would be very handy.
