I know what you mean, I had the same thing back two years ago in the 2009 when all the guys in that draft were the same age as me, it's quite surreal knowing that these guys are the same age or a couple of years younger than you and are going to play in the AFL.
And then to have a brother who could possibly, fingers crossed, be around the mark in two years time is even more surreal.

Making you feel old, HOF? I've noticed it in the last couple of years, these huge buggers playing AFL or Test cricket, younger than me, and I'm thinking WTF!
Yep it's an unusual feeling, just thinking what could of been, if you were good enough etc and what would be running through those blokes heads at the minute, would be the best feeling in the world!
These draftees have not yet proved they are good enough. Some of them seem to think they have already made it just because they've been selected on perceived potential by a group of crystal ball gazers. They've achieved nothing yet.
Back in the days of the VFL and early years of the AFL, players who were recruited/drafted had been dominant players at league level in the SANFL/WAFL e.g. Jim and Phil Krakouer, John Platten, Gary Buckenara, Stephen Kernahan, Nathan Buckley etc etc. These blokes had earnt the right to play at the top level and there was no question of them being ready.
