Cheers, just hoping for a cracker match. Gotta love the rivalry between the 2 clubs, hope its still alive and well in another 100 years or so. Both sets of fans have a mutual hate for each other but i know most Essendon fans have a stack of respect for Carlton deep down.
Just gotta hope WC beat Collingwood and the winner of our match can have a crack at the old enemy :D

very true mate i used to be in the carlton cheer squad in the early 80's going to princess park and windy hill was great to watch them play.... the rivalry as you say is great i would nearly say its just as big as the pies now......lets just hope sunday we dont flog you and you dont flog us a close game either way would be worth the trip hey......

I was just saying that yesterday about the rivalry. It has become nearly bigger than Carlton v collingwood although recently I've been to Carlton v collingwood and Carlton v essendon and the atmosphere of the former and the buzz around town was greater. Awesome
