Even though it is a junk game. The guys will want to show who ever is the new coach (no doubt all candidates will be watching) they have something to offer next year.
Very winnable game for the boys. Hoping for a 40-50 point win.

Tipped Richmond.

Scott Burns was there. Justin Leppitsch was on the opposing side so was there.

Disgraceful performance, up there with one of our worst performances.

Gutless squibs. We have so many soft players; Reilly, Armstrong, Otten, McKernan ect.

Our tackling is a joke, as is our midfield, and our defence was horrific; McKernan played one of the worst games at AFL level I've ever seen. Rutten close behind.

Don't hold back there NFC.

Today just showed that there's still plenty of work to do before we are a decent outfit.

It was definitely the worst I've seen a Crows defence play for a long time unfortunately. So many easy goals, terrible. McKernan was hopelessly outclassed unfortunately, but he's had a good year overall and you have to remember he's played less than a season of AFL football total. I'm still very confident that he'll be an excellent player.

More concern for how Rutten played today - particularly his skill errors. He has been uncharacteristic in that area this year, I can't recall him ever burning the ball as badly as he has this season. Very disappointing to see that from a senior player.

I thought our mids and forwards were okay today to be honest. Regarding the midfield - I think that there's still some blokes that just don't have the tanks to run out a game at full steam yet, simple as that. Sloane & Dangerfield come to mind. Jacobs was good in the ruck again today I thought. The Jacobs/Tippett combo will work very nicely in years to come.

Tackling and footskills in particular let us down today.

Clearly the party is over. Went a few weeks longer than I thought it would but it's over. As one scribe observed last week, the Crows haven't played anyone of note.

Anyway, there's light at the end of the tunnel, just hope it's not a train coming the other way.

On the flip side it makes it pretty obvious who should be traded and who should be kept when trading week rolls around.

Have often wondered why people whose sides finish outside of the eight get so excited about x and x player signing on for another season. The AFC need to be far more ruthless this time around, players that put in unacceptable performances should be trade bait, I would rather have draft picks than a player that is little more than a passenger on the list week in and week out, irrespective of what their surname is.

Are you referring to McKernan? You can't be serious if so. He's played what? 15 games? Fair dinkum, the expectations of some Adelaide fans are absolutely ridiculous.

NFC pump the brakes, you are the most hysterical poster on the whole site.

We didnt play well today, we were down across the whole ground and they were up and about.

First half wasnt to bad, we moved the ball ok! not great but the intent was there! They scored some hack goals in the first half which kept them in it.

Second half we were flat footed around the contest and we made some terrible turnovers.

Smac, A Riley and Truck had days to forget. Otten made some bad decisions but did some ok things.

Gunton, B Reilly and VB were our best by far. Vince wasnt to bad, Wright started well but fell out the game!

Well said FS. Adelaide doesn't have a problem with talent. The main problem is what is going on in players heads at the moment. They lack experience and confidence, so when challenged they panic and lose their skills and decision making abilities.

Talent is most definately there, we werent up for this game though! Tackling pressure wasnt there yesty and neither was the decision making (to many handballs in the chain)! Walker and Tippet also hardly raised a sweat.

Gunston showed he is developing nicely as the medium FWD

Another good game from Jack Gunston! Would have to go close to the rising star award for this week.

Dissapointing result/game. Intensity wasnt there for most of the game. Our younger players who have been up and about for 4 or 5 weeks now all had bad games A. Reily, McKernan etc. That will happen with such a young squad.

Van Berlo was best on and continued his good form over past 4 or 5 weeks! 14 posies in the first quarter with 2 goals and ended up with 36 touches! Good captains game!
