I dont care if the bloke drinks a bottle of scotch yesterday.
the point is it's dumb to be out in front of cameras drinking beer when you've been dropped.
You would think blokes who are desperate to get back into the side wouldn't dream of putting a foot even slightly wrong/risk upsetting the coach anymore!
I am friends with a guy who went a whole summer without one drop of beer because he was desperate to get signed by his SANFL club.
does Taylor seem desperate enough to play AFL by sitting in the stands having a beer?

IM struggling to still see why having a beer while watching a game of footy after his football commitments for the weekend are complete questions his commitment.

He is a 20 year old lad who happens to play footy! Why does that mean he cant drink. Just because 'brain surgeons' get paid alot to perform doesnt mean they dont have a relaxing drink after their commitments are COMPLETE.

The only coach Walker needs to impress is Kevin Sheedy...

Yeah you're probably right. No-one is going to be surprised if he goes.
Would it impress Kevin Sheedy? Has he signed the dotted line yet, could lose value?
For us a few beers on a Saturday arvo is nothing, God knows i have too many, but it is a diff environment in the AFL, and even tho those boys all enjoy a few beers they are maybe a bit smarter in when and where?

You guys are kidding arnt you?

The only thing Taylor is guilty of here is going to a Port game and walking out of a round when its his hook!

If every AFL player was in the paper or on TV for having a beer with his mates, its the only thing we would hear about!

Give the kid a break!

With you there blokes, tell me this, if he had been sitting there eating a big Mac and fries, would anyone had said anything - no IMO, but we all know how bad that crap is for you, at least the beer would taste nice. AND in his defence, he was watching his Broken Hill boys play, not the plodders from across Port Road.

I believe Walker said guilty at first then he changed his plea to not guilty.

Hopefully Walker starts realising his potential next year at a new club. I think it will do him the world of good.

The young fella looks like he'll come back in this week.

I gotta say I can honestly not remember so much hype and media coverage around one man since the days of Tony Modra.

It will be very interesting to see how he performs this week.

was always going to stay, been a crows fan his whole life and adelaide is the closest afl team to broken hill. even if he does go now the crows will definitely get something very good in return. happy to see him come out and say it all the same.
