Has been very funny going back over these posts. About 90% of posters had us in bottom 4 so i guess we have exceded expectations

I admit ive made a couple of howlers this year as has most people. I had Eagles bottom 4 and thought Port and Essendon would be around the same position from 9-12

I think port and essendon will finish about the same spot on ladder, probably both 8-12th. Am happy to take a little wager for us to finish higher than port though

Massive can of worms. Ive always believed the VFL was renamed, everything else remained the same. The AFL wasnt formed just rebadged. But thats probably a debate for another thread

Of course that is what happened .Anyone who thinks otherwise is a complete moron.

It really is amazing how many people try to debate that fact, but it's irrefutable. West Coast and Brisbane were invited to join the VFL in 1987, and in 1990 they changed the name from VFL to AFL to give the competition a national flavour. Simple at that.
