Agreed everyone has a different path I understand that. Some like yourself have chosen the path of being a bandwagoner and a sanfl deserter.

Some of us haven't.

some people have diFferent views on loyalty and deserting your football club.

All I and others ask in return is you respect our views equally.

So let me get this straight, your calling him a bandwagoner and SANFL deserter and having a go at him, then in the same post your asking that he respect your views?

I think your a bit crazy. Perhaps you should head back to the SANFL area.

Mate .... how's this for size

* off!

Jebus, you know nothing about me. Take your prejudices someplace else.

I could refute this rubbish with some facts but that's giving this post some respect. Respect I don't have.

I especially like the "I and others" part ... like it's some sort of line in the sand between warring parties (SANFL fans and Power/Crows fans) and he is speaking on behalf of these nameless others against heathens in the AFL camp. The spokesperson for the real footy supporters.

Good night all

Mate I reckon thats what he is saying. I like football in general from AFL to the SAAFL. And I watch all sorts an support teams in all comps. Does that strike a problem with anyone.

correct some have their sanfl club they support first afl club second.

Some have their afl club they support first and sanfl club second.

Conflict of interest to support both whole heartedly these days. Example I love Ian callinan and 100% know the best thing for his career is to play afl. But I'm still disappointed he isn't out their playing for the dogs. Why is that ??? I'm a centrals supporter first.

You Afl fans are more than welcome to have a crack at us sanfl fans "blind loyalty" by staying true to the sanfl.

Just as much as we can question your loyalty after to quote hondo "choosing a different path and deserting the sanfl".

I don't have a guilty conscience Due to the path I have chosen unlike others. that's all I know. ;)

now back on topic surely Craig will be given a coaching mentor role ala malthouse at the pies role next year.

I think it would be a bit uncomfortable if he had a day to day role with the players. Has a full time senior coach ever been sacked and then made assistant at the same club the year after ???

Did Neil state he had lost the players and felt he couldn't get anymore out of the playing group ?? Or simply he was damaging the club by staying on ??

I feel little or no conflict between my support for Norwood and the Crows, even over instances like Taylor Walker.
After all he is a Crows player Norwood may use when available.
I'm more concerned about the Crows (or Norwood) selecting him if he is not fully fit, which seems to be the case this week.

Even my support for the Power against non-SA AFL teams causes me no conflict - when they play the Crows I support the Crows.

I suppose one could dispute how "wholeheartedly" I support any of them.
I am interested in football, but I do have a broader life as well.

So come September/October we can count on you support to cheer on Callinan, Gunston, Henderson, Symes potentially, or will you be one of these who loves a player one week and then hate him the next when he plays SANFL against your side.

I never said that. I never said I desterted the SANFL. You are making up your own argument here. You have not even asked me about how I support the SANFL.

I am having deja vu again

This better not be UK Fan back again? The posting style is awfully similar and it would be no surprise if he is back sniping behind a new identity. Mods ..... ?

back on topic Neil Craig gone.

After being told he will be coach for as far as the eye can see by the president.

If crows fans are upset with Steven trigg do they get a vote on whether he stays on or not ?? Or is he sanfl appointed.

I'll be busy supporting Norwood and that stage and the Crows will have ceased to count for the season.
It won't bother me who is in the team that plays against Norwood or which AFL team they usually play for.
We'll have to beat whoever lines up against us, with whomever we have on hand, because that is the way the rules work.

In general though, I'd prefer there were a higher number of qualifying games required before anyone can play SANFL finals - say 6 or more.

I don't love or hate football players as they are not that centrally involved in my life, and I don't know them enough to feel any emotion about them.
In fact, I've never hated anyone I've actually known, though I've despised - transiently - a few...
