I couldn't really get a take on his form on the radio. In the paper he had a similar amount of hitouts as Warnock, so I'm guessing were weren't smashed in the ruck like the last couple of weeks.

Didn't stand out doing anything blatantly stupid, improvement in my eyes. Lol

Poor old Maric. I hate rubbishing him because he does put in maximum effort every week. Unfortunately after 5+ years though I think it's becoming painfully obvious that his skills and decision making just aren't there.

Barring injury I'd say the Jacobs/McKernan combo with a pinch hit from Tippett occasionally will be a lock for the rest of the year.

The one this with Jacobs is he is a ruckman! Maric is a big bloke who they taught how to try and ruck. While his effort was there and minor improvement was shown, Jacobs is miles ahead of him for me.

I'm loving the look of the Jacobs/McKernan combo actually. Jacobs as a dedicated ruckman and McKernan who is flexible enough hold down a key position forward or back.

Wouldn't be surprised to see both of them assert themselves on games before the end of the season.

S Mac's marking ability seems to be really good and if he can start duking them around the ground when he is in the ruck it will help for sure. Jacobs tap work seemed reasonable for his first game of the year as well. Will be great to have sloany and Phil back in the next couple of weeks and Dmac after that
