We know he is the umpires pet but i thought he was only about 4th best for you guys today.

We must have been watching different games cos he was the catalyst for our come back. Inspirational and my non Carlton fans who were also watching agree too

Fair dinkum. Yeah he got a few important clearances but his disposal remains shocking. Floaters into the forward 50, loopy handpassess that almost go over his team mates heads..Murphy providing better value at the moment.

Judd is the most overrated footballer in living memory. Not saying he's not good, just not as good as we keep getting told he is. He has been fellated for so long by the football world he can't get it up anymore. He has an excellent work rate and commands respect but the love he gets for someone who can't kick is totally over the top. Jobe Watson has him covered this year. Your mob paid top dollar for a bloke with busted groins whose best football is behind him and you haven't even got a finals win to show for it.

Maybe this year perhaps but for mine Judd doesn't deserve his lofty rating. Last years Brownlow was the biggest crock of shit known to man and the supporters of 15 clubs know it.

Judd's early days at the West Coast, IMHO, he was up there with the best I've ever seen ... Still a great player, and last years Brownlow might say more about the amount of non-Judd talent in their team

Carlton also had to give up Kennedy who is developing into a top line forward KPP, something they seriously need at this point in time.

Interestingly the conjecture over Judd being an "umpires pet" but there's been a heap of instances over the years when Goodes has received votes for picking his nose too ... Both have received incredibly lenient treatment from the Tribunal too, in fact I can't see that they've been treated any different at all.

Regardless of that, both are champions and superstars.

Goodes got suspended for the softest bump of all time a couple of seasons ago. That was about the time Leigh Matthews started his protected species campaign.

Bout time to suck that one up and get on with it. We know the tribunal is inconsistent. We could come up with hundreds of cases that coulda, shoulda but didn't get any penalty. Decisions made move on.
