Bloody ripper. Real happy for the young fella, and can't wait to see him strut his stuff this year.

I would be happy with that team come Sat night FS. Would you have Henderson making way for a fit Tippett in Rnd 3? Also don't think Andy will be that 'sub' option for very long.

Tippett reckons he'll be right, according to his interview in yesterday's paper. Should be interesting.

announced a few minutes ago he will be left out of the team.

I'd move Otten to half back, Martin to the bench and Moran as a SUB.

Also reckon there will be question marks over Vince and Henderson. Vince was only servicable for the Eagles on the weekend and has had very little pre-season. Wouldn't be surprised if they mark him for a round 3 return and give him a couple more weeks in the SANFL to get his match fitness up.

We have a bye in Round 2, so I doubt anyone with a question mark will be playing this weekend as they effectively get another fortnight to recover and be cherry ripe for the rest of the season.

Agreed Vince is under done so could see him starting Rnd 3, but i think Hendo is a certainty! Hasnt skipped a beat apart from being concussed against Carlton.

Otten i think will be out SUB player, can play tall and small!

We also need Moran to play as we cant afford to have no tall up FWD if Smac needs to ruck.

Reckon we might see Ruckmen resting forward again like the old days personally.

Just how this sub rule plays out will be very interesting. It adds a whole nother dimension to the game, at least for the first few weeks anyway!

Yeah some coaches will use the sub rule tactically and some purely on needs be basis. If you use it as a tactic it can bite you on the ass

i have a feeling it will be Otten. But, Henderson coming back from a big knock to the head maybe the way that he is bought back in to the team.

Won't know until 40mins before the game.

That's what I reckon too.

With Hawthorn's forward line they need some defensive flexibility on the bench. Or maybe I'm just hoping so for the sake of my Supercoach team.

I think it's actually 90 mins before the game.

Looking for a four qtr effort tonight, can't leave anything on the park with the bye next week.
