Nixons side of the story

AFL player agent Ricky Nixon last night issued a statement categorically denying claims by a 17-year-old girl that the pair had sex.

"I wish to set the record straight. I have never had a sexual relationship with this girl," Nixon said.

The statement came after the girl -- who was previously embroiled in the St Kilda nude photo scandal -- claimed she and Nixon, 47, had a sexual relationship.

Victoria Police confirmed yesterday it had been handed video and audio tapes allegedly involving Nixon, the girl and the apparent presence of an illicit drug, and intended to interview Nixon about serious allegations the girl had made against him.

According to Gerard Wheatley (sp?) (ABC, Offsiders, AFL360 etc), it now appears that News Limited is paying for her accommodation.

One wonders whether this is a blatant attempt by News Ltd to keep this sorry saga on the front page for a little longer????

Well if players and officials cant see past there Nob then sucked into them, they deserve everything they get.
