Port don't get nearly as much media coverage here as the Crows do.
During the football season there is always more articles in the Advertiser/Sunday mail about the Crows than the Power, most are written by guys such as Chris McDermott who is the most one-eyed journalist in the whole country. When I go to watch the sports news on channel 7, 9 and 10 the first article is always about the Crows and it's always the longest article for the entire sports news, unless there's a big AFL story brewing eg. Ben Cousins.
To say that the Crows and Power have equal coverage is incorrect. The AFC have more money and a bigger supportor base than the PAFC, so it always has more coverage because more people want to know about the Crows than the Power.
I wasn't trying to say that port did get as much coverage and i am pretty sure i didn't. All i was saying is that i get sick and tired of people whinging about the adelaide based bias in the adelaide press. In terms of adelaide vs port coverage, there could be a valid argument into one team being favoured or getting more press then it deserves that would be far more credible. In relation to this topic, i am sure both coaches or adelaide based teams have had more then their fair share of scrutiny placed upon them over the years.
