Johno, 'sex' is an inappropriate term for this thread. I'd prefer you use a phrase such as 'batter dip the cranny ax in the gut locker' or something similar.

Leaving aside the reasoning for the thread, Chris Judd is one of the greatest players I have been fortunate enough to see the whole career of, thus far (I never saw the likes of Polly Farmer, Ted Whitten and a number of other players that are named among the greatest, play live). Easily, far and away, the player I enjoy watching most in AFL. His ability to burst through a pack, win a contested situation, emerge with the football, take a sidestep and lace it out to the next contest is brilliant to watch.

Any sour grapes about him winning the Brownlow never cease to surprise me, quite honestly.

(I did have a good laugh about the bedroom scene, though  )
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

Absolute champion of the game and a deserved two time Brownlow Medalist throughout his career.

BUT in saying that i think its fair to say if you had the number 1 draft pick from all the current players Judd wouldnt be many peoples first pick if the new season started tomorrow.

Was very lucky to win the Brownlow this year especially collecting 3 votes in games where the Blues lost by nearly ten goals.

To critise the bloke as a person is a joke, he is a champion person on and off the field, not my cup of tea personally, i prefer the more out there characters ala Aker but clearly Judd is a great role model for any younger child looking at how to conduct themselves in the media etc etc.

Lost me after the "pressure point" bullshit. That was a dog act and he laughed it off.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Ablett won the highest individual honour a player can receive in the greatest game on earth and he shows too much emotion. Smiled too much.
Maybe it's another case of tall poppy syndrome but surely I'm not the only person that feels like this now. ;)

I had to vote "No" to see the result. I neither like nor dislike him, as we've never met.

My FB status update after his Brownlow acceptance speech was this: I wish 2 things: 1. There more people in the world like Chris Judd, and 2. That he played for Essendon! Sigh...

Certainly every time I've heard him speak, which isn't that often (another sign of his humility), he impresses me greatly, seems very down-to-earth and realizes he's fortunate for getting paid a squillion dollars to play a game. Of course he's not perfect, as evidenced by some of his transgressions over the years, but hell, we don't hear about any wrongdoings off the field. That's not to say they don't exist of course, ha, ha! Just probably happen in the privacy of his bedroom. Dammit! I think he's in a select group of footballers that most opposition supporters would have in their side in a second.

Thanks I hadn't noticed it.
I've tended to skip polls, probably from experience before this site had that option or from experience on other sites that don't.
I was just curious about this one.

I'm a big fan of Juddy, he's a legend. His burst running with the ball out of contests and stoppages and then lacing out a leading player is a rare strength for a player to have.

I thought his speech after winning the brownlow has good and to say he didn't care is very harsh on the great man. I think it's just the fact that he's so humble and down to earth.

IMO he's a way better talker than Ablett, he's as boring as a brown paper bag.

I think what most people find off putting is he isnt a footy tragic, he doesnt have the high love for the game that we expect of the champions of the game.

IMO he will pull up stumps pretty quickly one day and will surprise plenty
