First financial loss in club history

Seems the club will post a $500 000 loss this year:

The case firms even more for the switch to Adelaide Oval. Anyone who thinks it's not necessary is kidding themselves as far as I'm concerned.

Well hopefully the Crows get the same handout as Port

The Crows have decided to fight back rather than go on subsidising the Power, and they are pitching their case for a matching deal to restore the level playing field between the two licensees? ;)
Seriously, the injury payments were the big factor and the rest is accountancy rather than actual outlays.

Here is the key statement:
"There is a heavy depreciation factor based on our new facility at West Lakes.
