Their 3 years away & played finals once.. ;)

Be patient, we played finals last year and are going back to where we were 2 years ago.

No one thought Hardwick had the cattle this year, but look what he has done over the last 3-4 weeks.

Sorry, but time to go, get someone new in there before the club heads in the direction that Richmond did, keeping Wallace on to long.

They'll beat West Coast and the heat will be off.

My bro loves the Bombers and he went right off when Knights was given the job.Its hard when injuries can hurt teams that the depth isnt there.Couple of things i havent minded with Knights is he moved on players who are causing trouble and instructs his players to play attacking footy and even though Essendon do cop floggings, its better footy to watch than rubbish defensive style.

I won't accept that Knights knows nothing about football.
He played at the highest level for over 10 years, & was a smart footballer.
Not saying he's the greatest coach, but to say he doesn't understand the game is ridiculous.

I believe when I said he would be a dud from the start and the whole during his first season, I was told I knew nothing about football and he will turn out to be good, bla bla bla bla.......isnt that right No Mercy

Look I dont know if I want Choko in charge either, but then again I think he will better than knights.

Knights was fantastic at Port Magpies. Was not his fault at all but the backward thinking people who ran the place. Look at what has transpired since at Port Magpies. NOTHING. Knights can Coach but does not have the greatest of lists to work with. I think is a great shame if he goes at Essendon and hope he stays on. Look at Geelong a few years ago with Bomber Thompson and they were about to get rid of him and look what happened. Knights should be left to finish his contract at the end of 2011. Geez the bloke has just taken over a list fhat not even Sheedy could make work and it will take time. Would not be getting into No Mercy if you have no idea. Sure his record is not great but that is not the real measure of him as a Coach just yet.

As I said to No Mercy back then its simple a matter of opinion, I just dont think he is good enough its just my opinion

It is great you have an opinion. It is just that your opinion is just so horribly wrong and he is good enough. At wonderful tactician and will go a long way towards the next Essendon Flag. Always was going to be on the outer because of the Sheedy factor but is one of the great football brains in the land and will be a success. He needs a better list and a few players to step up and a few less injuries and BANG and new Essendon side and then perhaps you will understand what he is doing at the moment as he grows the list

The person who took over from sheedy was alwasy going to be in for a tough task. But before we can Knights, have a look a the list that he has to work with, really no key forwards, the best backman is 34 or 35 and the midfield besides watson and stanton are really only honest at best. So from that point of view you would think it would be a bit harsh and short sighted to get rid opf knights now.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

Agreed PR. Surely he knows a bit about the game considering he played at the higgest level for a long peroid of time. I don't think he's the best coach in the AFL but I think he is capable of doing the job.

But his teams success will obviously determine his position as coach of the Essendon Football club.
