Up there....Cometti

It's not been officially confirmed but word has it that commentator Dennis Cometti has teamed up with US rock band McKenna and developed an AFL grand final anthem.

Cometti is actually a big music buff and apparently he wrote the lyrics and the band devised the tune.

The plan is to release it just before the finals series and it's been endorsed by the AFL.

It seems there could be a replacement for the famous 'Up there Cazaly' by Mike Brady.
