i have been very disappointed with my beloved Doggies season thus far, too many losses sees them outside the 4 by two games.

however looking over their season i noticed something interesting, they have lost 4 games by less than 10 points.

losses...
R1 - Collingwood 36pts
R4 - Brisbane 22pts (should have been a lot more... Bris kicked 13.23)
R6 - St. Kilda 3pts
R10 - Essendon 9pts
R11 - Collingwood 10pts
R14 - Hawthorn 3pts

so since Rd 4 we are 6-4 with an average winning margin of 48pts (severely reduced due to the 4pt win over Melbourne) and average losing margin of 6pts...

although we shouldn't have lost to Essendon and the St. Kilda game we threw away, losing to Collingwood and Hawthorn in their form isn't too bad...

i would say the Dogs and Hawks would be the only ones to certainly make the 8 from outside the four, once we're there anything can happen. we aren't playing good enough footy right now to win a flag, but come September we should give it a shake...

No way. You couldn't win the flag in 2008 and 2009 when you were playing much better but now that your kicking efficeincy has died in the ar5e and you kick to the same bloke Hall the time you suddenly can? Dreamtime.

Ditto the Hawks. If they make the top four they can win it. If not they can't.
