Did the Cats sneak the best pick out of the top 20 at no 7 last year?

Yeah Wedgie Geelong have a beauty..the difference is that the Cats are winning, and they are letting him have a real crack through the middle, where as Carlton have been playing Bryce down back in the damn backpocket for most of the year which is giving me the sh##s and I cannot understand why Pagan doesn't get him in the middle and let him use his footy brain...BUT well done Geelong for letting the kid go !!
The joy of being on the hill drinking beer cannot be understated

From what Ive seen of those players, (I haven't seen much of Selwood) but the two that really stand out are Andrejs Everrit and Travis Boak. Both of them will have very long successful careers.

Only bloke who might pip Selwood out of the Rising Star award is Pendelbury who is in his 2nd year but it wouldn't suprise me if Selwood still beats him.
Compared to Voss, Judd and Luke Ball already by those in the know.

LOL. That old chestnut Wedgie. The one we haven't seen is always the best one. I don't think he'll go too low in the draft mind you. Apparently he's a 'bottom age' player, that is top ten in the 2009 draft but maybe a bit lower if he goes this year. The Cats would do well to invest our first pick on him with a view to future years.

regards,

REB
