Napolean Dynamite

Postby Dogwatcher » Tue Aug 21, 2007 12:40 pm

Finally watched this film on Sunday.

WTF??

I laughed my arse off, but what's it all about?
What's the point?

Someone explain this film to me?

You either love it or hate it.

I love it.

More a series of gags than an actual narrative.

But some of them are **** funny.

I can laugh at Rico quarterbarking the raw steak into Napoleon's face all day long...

Sorry to bump an old thread, but saved starting a new one. The first time I watched this one, was a bit bewildered with it, but found some really funny bits. Seeing it again helps understand why its considered such a favorite for many. Some of the quotes are just gold.

Even if the star does bear an uncanny resemblence to Justin Westhoff (as noted many times on AFL shows, etc)

Is a movie you need to watch a few times to take it all in, the first time I watched I wondered what all the fuss was about but the subsequent viewings always crack me up. "Hey can you come get your crap out my locker.....I can't fit my num-chucks in" gold!!
