There seems to be a bit of a game show revival happening, with two shows have been off the telly for a couple of years coming back on - Wheel of Fortune (hosted by Larry Emdur) and Family Feud (hosted by Bert Newton).

I used to like Family Feud and find Bert Newton hillarious so I might give that one a squiz.
I usually get my game show fix solely from my box DVD set of Graham Kennedy's Blankety Blanks, nothing will EVER come close to that show.

I think Family Feud will be up directly against Deal or No Deal, with Wheel of Fortune (great to see Adelaide girl Laura Csortan co hosting) preceeding Deal. I'm always amazed that Deal or No Deal is as successful as it has been. When i watched it the first few times it was like watching grass grow, but i must admit there is something about it and it does become a bit more interesting.
I dont think Blankety Blanks will prob ever come back, Darryl Sommers had a go at it about 8 or 9 years ago but it was a bit of a flop.
Will be interesting to see whether or not ch 9 ever put old Price is Right episodes up against Wheel of Fortune hosted by Lazza.

There's actually a UK version on Foxtel at the moment that I occasionally watch. Actually has a Drag Queen (Lilly Savage) hosting it, slightly different forumula which confuses me.

Amen to that, I've quoted that Boss song on many occasions.
Foxtel IQ helps though, it means I always have something to watch, especially the Trailer Park Boys and King of the Hill episodes.

Pretty bloody funny version this, whilst still not reaching the heights of the King, Ugly Dave, Stuart Wagstaff etc., if you're a fan of dry Pommy humour it's definately worth a watch (just quietly they get some pretty tidy celebs on there too).
And agreed Wedgie, it's taken me several episodes to work out the prize system, tie-breakers etc ..

It's a Knockout was the best. I even had the board game.
Apparently Channel 10 are starting a new show called Friday Night Games in February. It's a spin off from the Big Brother Friday night games and is meant to have a similar format to It's a Knockout.

Well i dont know how Bert is going to survive, is averaging around 450,000 - 500,000 viewers a night compared to Deal which is getting 800,000 - 850,000.

I much prefer Family Feud to Deal. Deal drags and many of the contestants are super greedy, so they end up with $50 cause they keep pushing. It took a bit of getting used to Family Feud to figure it out, but it's quite entertaining now.
