HBO TV series shown in US, if it was on here it was on so late I missed it. Show about the old West, heard nothing but rave reviews. Being in to my Westerns I finally bought series 1 & 2 and absolutely recommend it. K-Mart have them on special at the moment or down-load them. Well worth a look if you like that sort of thing. Violent, tough, well-acted .... great stuff.

It has been shown on Foxtel I think.
Have all 3 series on DVD, think it's a great show, 1st series and 3rd series in particular.
Very strong characters and acting, and very strong language (an average of 70 F*** words per episode!).

Gotta agree MP, probably my favourite character of all time ... Hurst made a good prick* in the last series too, can't wait till the next season begins.

The latest Empire Magazine which reviewed series III (which prompted me to go out and get I & II) says that the show was cancelled (after III) but there may be a tele-movie or 2 to wrap things up. No doubt I'll get to the end of III and be left hanging for more ....

Yep, the show is finished. Apparently the director has gone on to make another show. The final episode of series 3 doesn't really seem like that it's the last episode. Disappointing it didn't go longer, however most of my favourite shows seem to only go for a few series (The Office, Arrested Development).
