Meet the Feebles- A muppet, well, giant muppet style movie set in a small theatre.

Street Trash- A liquor store owner finds some old 'plonk' buried under his floor and he sells it off dirt cheap to the bums on the street, who proceed to melt from the inside out.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Surely that's not a B movie.

Mine faves:

The Car, starring James Brolin. A car posessed by the devil runs over most of the population in a country town.

Watch Out We're Mad, starring Terrence Hill and Bud Spencer from "They Call Me Trinity", also Donald Pleasance. A mafia boss destroys their dune buggy, they spend the rest of the movie hounding him for a new one.

X: The Man With X-ray Eyes. Medical scientist invents a serum which gives him X-ray vision. He lives to regret it. "If thine eye offends thee, pluck it out! PLUCK IT OUT!"

Dark Star. John Carpenter's first flick. The crew of a deep space probe spends its time looking for rogue planets to blow up. Worth watching to see the crew try to fix a malfunctioning bomb by teaching it existential philosophy.

Eraserhead. David Lynch's first flick. Not entirely sure how to describe this one!

Invaders From Mars. Young boy witnesses a UFO land behind his house. Anyone who goes to investigate comes back "different".

Earth versus the Flying Saucers. The title says it all!

The Brain from Planet Arous. Scientist gets taken over by an evil disembodied alien brain, tries to take over the planet. Finds opposition from his fiancee, and his dog, who in turn has been taken over by a benign disembodied alien brain. This one has to be seen to be believed...

Plan 9 from Outer Space and Bride of the Monster, both Ed Wood creations.
Clowns OUT. Smears OUT. RESIST THE OCCUPATION.

Originally, it was the cheapie that featured first on a double bill.

These days, they're the straight to DVD flicks.

Generally, they're cheap, bad and in some cases, exploitative...

Think was relaesed as one at the time, but it has built up a bit of a following since.

Ray Miland IIRC. Funny how, as he took more of the formula, he could see through clothes but not underwear :D Come to think of it, might be time for a re-make :D

Nothing B grade about the great Johnny Weissmullers (spelling) Tarzan, MP :)
Became a star after winning gold for the USA in swimming IIRC

"Timber, katanga" This command covered everything, from telling an efelent to "go stamp on a bad guy", to telling a chimp to "go fetch Jane, I'm feeling a little horney right now" :D

Reakon Johnny won Olympic gold before the Tarzan movies - it's what got him the attention of the Hollywood studios.

IIRC, Hollywood came knocking after the '72 Olympics and wanted Mark Spitz and Shane Gould to star in a Tarzan movie, as Tarzan and Jane, of course.

Always preferred Ron Ely as the 'Lord of the Apes' myself...

:D

Think that was what I was saying re johnny.

Like Ron Ely, the most civilised tarzan and probably the only tarzan that was more intelligent than cheetah :)

Yeah, you did!

Fair to say Johnny was typecast.

If wasn't starring as Tarzan he was Jungle Jim.

A man for all jungles...

Can't remember who Jayne was but for the time she was one sexy girl. Think that was the main reason for watching them films all those years ago. Loved it when she fell into the river (something she did just about every time) and had to be rescued from the rubber croc by johnny. Great costume (Her I mean) :)

reminds me of a couple more:

Bad Taste, also by Jackson. Containing the immortal line "Aren't I lucky, I got a chunky bit!"

Brain Damage, by Frank Hennelotter. A weird alien slug attaches itself to a young bloke and injects psychedelic "juice" into his brain. The slug promises to keep up supply, so long as the young bloke takes him out to go hunting for brains...
