Funny as ever!
One of the most cleverly plotted shows ever made.
Also one of the funniest.
"Bingo!"

I can't believe it, somebody else from Australia who has heard of this show! Is it (has it been) on TV in Australia now?
I saw it for the first time a couple of years back, a tape was given to me from a Canadian, along with a critical review that ran sort of as follows, "It's pretty funny man...I dunno, some people don't like it. It was made by the guy who co-wrote Seinfeld."
I thought it was hilarious. The main character cracks me up. I only saw the first season (part of). I love the one where he gives the little dolly a haircut, and the little girl freaks out because she expected the dolly's hair to grow back. The final scene from that episode is one of the funniest pieces of TV I have ever seen.
I loaned the tape to an American I know, who gave it the big thumbs down and described it as "Jewish guy who goes around offending people."
What better recommendation do you need?

I must admit, Ive tried to like this show but the only times (probably half a dozen) Ive caught it, its been extremely boring, slow and unfunny, Im a devout Seinfeld fan. Perhaps I've just caught bad episodes?

Channel Nine have had it for years but buried it.
One time they were screening new episodes at 2am.

Yeah, they're pushing it big time on the Comedy Channel.

Yeah I was in the same boat but persevered, much the same as Trailer Park Boys which I needed a few viewings to get the hang of. Just finished a couchfest of series 1 in 24 hours, genuinely funny show that would be censored to death on FTA. I'm in the process of grabbing the 5 series set fron the US for around $160.
