Channel 10 is turning 50 this year and want people to vote for the 10 best shows ever shown on 10

http://tenplay.com.au/channel-ten/50-years-young/vote-2014

FWIW

Prisoner

*Daylight*

Blankety Blanks

Comedy Company

Young Talent Time

and 5th would either be Totally Wild (purely for longevity) or Ridgey Didge 8)

I wouldn't have a clue as a kid growing up in a rural area I only had 2 channels to watch tv. The ABC and the local station based in Port Pirie that took its feed from 95% from channel 7 unless it was the cricket.

SBS arrived early 2000's and it was bloody useless as they didn't speak English....

*Col'n Carpenter
*E Street (got weirder & weirder as it went on)
*Hard Copy (not a huge favourite, but mentioned random novelty value)

Best ever is probably Blankety Blanks; my favourite as a kid was probably Henderson Kids.

Only thing worse than that was probably living in Ceduna pre-Imparja, which I had to endure for18 months (ABC only); then again I believe Wudinna didnt even have ABC in the 1980s).
