Gold Class at Marion - ever been?

Postby Sploosh » Sun Feb 10, 2013 1:53 pm

I got given a double for the Gold Class at Marion, but have never been to a Gold Class thing, and I'm just wondering how it works.

Do you order food/drink before the movie starts, or multiple times while the movie is showing? Does the food just come whenever it's ready, or at pre-determined times? i.e. Are 'waiters' coming in and out all through the movie to the various customers?

I'm wondering how all this 'food/drink business' goes on without spoiling the enjoyment of watching the movie...

You choose at what time you want it served. Also with the drinks, you just say to them at the beginning how often you want them served. You barely notice them, they come, they serve they vanish, then they come to remove.
I enjoy it.

So it's best to get there 10 to 15 minutes before the movie to look through the menu and order, is that right? Do you order just outside of the cinema? Inside the cinema before the movie starts? Sorry if the answers are too obvious, but I really want to make sure the wife enjoys this first Gold experience...

Get there a good 45 early, make your orders, have a drink or 2 waiting, then relax in the recliners and enjoy a good movie, definitely don't waste it on an iffy one.

I got $100 voucher for gold class.

Wow, 30 to 45 minutes early, I'm glad I asked on here before I made the mistake of arriving too late. Thanks for passing on your tips.

I am Still wondering where people do all their food/drink ordering? In the cinema? Candy bar? Some other particular area?

They have a separate bar in the Gold Class area. You will be handed a menu. You order over the counter there.

You walk into a separated area, an usher sits you down on nice couches and hands you the menus, there's a bar that only serves folks in the gold class section, it's a great experience!

EDIT: what helicopterking said!
