I've always hated the word "pash" and I've never used it.

We always used "got on with"

Is this different to hooking up?

We always used "got on with."

But the older kids used "pash."

Some kids in my year used it, too.

"Hook-up" can mean different things to different people...

I'm the age group they are portraying in the show (teenager in the late 70s) and that's definitely the slang of the time. I forgot the first episode was on  , better watch next week.
And FWIW Mole is spelt Moll  As in Band Moll.(aka groupie)

Found true love there, Beej.

Out in the smokers area. She'd just won a jackpot on the pokeis. You're invited to the wedding.

Reception at The Eureka, of course...

I didnt watch the first one either and saw it last night.

If you look past the average acting, I was just listening for more and more of those gold sayings of the time I haven't heard in aaaaaaaaages

Ie; the phrase " He titted me off" =)) =))

Funny as show. I been laughing heaps watching it. Acting is VFO but the show is a ripper because of it. Now all we need is a new version of the Henderson kids or reruns at least.
