Davy Jones, lead singer of the great band The Monkees has passed away
Davy , aged 66, died of a heart attack
:(
As a kid I used to watch the Monkees TV series, and adored their hit songs
Daydream Believer remains one of the greatest ever songs recorded

Davy went a long way in life after being a Racecourse Jockey at one stage

Fellow Monkees had this to say

Michael Nesmith
""Davids spirit and soul live well in my heart."
"" Among all lovely people, WHO remember with me the GOOD TIMES, and the healing times

Mickey Dolenz
"' Cant BELIEVE it ...still in shock..had bad dreams ALL NIGHT LONG, my love and prayers go out to Davys girls and family right now

Davy Jones 1945 -2012
Died YESTERDAY
Gone but will never be forgotten

He was on the same Ed Salivan(sp) show as the Beatles and decided to do the same thing as them.
