Yes I watched it.
Thought the way channel 9 stuffed up by replaying already shown scene's from episode 2 was a joke. I had no idea what was going on, then they put on some kind of "Postcards" type show, then the screen went blank and it came back on! Great start for a show they have been plugging relentlessly for 2 months.

Anyhow, on to the actual content.
I am intruiged already.
I think it is obvious that the inmates are being cloned in some way, well maybe not obvious, but that's how I see it so far.
The ending of episode 2 with the girl who was shot showing up in the past has kept me wondering. Is she a baddie or a goodie??
Sam Niell, who I have always liked was ok. But is he a baddie or a goodie??

As for the partnering of an impetuous young cop & a fat, squemish comic store owner, well I just dont know. Me thinks if Sam Niell's character was as serious & cold as he has been portayed so far, he would have shot the fat dude the first chance he had.

There is Moe's review.
Moe will definately be watching next week, whist Mrs. Moe watches Revenge.
Look's like Mondays will be a No go for Moe Zone for a while. ;)

I enjoyed it (despite someone tripping over a cord at one stage @ Channel 9) and will keep watching for a week or two more to see what happens.

My only concern is it has the potential to end up with a neverending plot line like Lost. We'll see what happens though.

The lead actress is very easy on the eye also which is an added bonus!

Yep, when she was scrubbing the blood off of her there was some nice shots.
Perving aside, the tech problems were annoying but the show was good.
A never-ending plot is unlikely, as there are only a certain number of crims? I thought it was about 60 or so? Perhaps not.
Agree, the fat guy is a bad casting decision.
I, too, was confused about the lady popping up at the end in the past.
If she was brought back too, how many others from the prison have also been brought back?
Sam Neill's character has aged, so it's unlikely he is one of the bad people but I will be watching to find out.
Right in front of me. RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!

.

i think it actually more like 160-odd crims, plus the 40-odd guards that were on duty that night. (i may be incorrect though)

if i am indeed right, if they do want it to, they could drag this on for a long time.

i didn't mind it though. i think it's a bit too much 'fantasy' based for me, but i will watch it again next week and see how it goes.

I don't like them playing off the "Alcatraz" name when it's not based on something that actually happened there

I managed 6 episodes but its going to be the only show besides the remake of V and Lost that Ill give up on. Why do the worst shows out of America make it to prime time here with the crackers being relegated to secondary digital channels or Foxtel?
