Actor Peter Falk...known to most as that wonderful, rumpled detective Lt Columbo has finally been released from his long term illness.

Grew up watching Columbo and still love seeing to occasional reruns on tv. Also remember him in several films including a war film (damned if I can remember the name) where he sang Bye Bye Blackbird

u had me worried for a minute with the topic title jas!

I first remember him in a movie I saw as a kid, Griffin and Phoenix. He was a fine actor.
