Been some good stuff on lately.

Outback Kids was pretty full-on.

Sucked in by On Trial, too.

Baker Boys starts this week.

Last night caught Jump.

Some of the stuff those kids do is insane.

Bit more difficult than the ol' "Jump Rope for Heart" days...

ABC's "The Kennedys" has been compulsory viewing the last three weeks, the final is this Sunday at 8.30pm. Not sold on Katie Holmes as Jackie, but the rest of the performances have been excellent. Greg Kinnear is very good as JFK, and Tom Wilkinson is a great Joseph Kennedy Snr.

My one fault with it, and I am guessing that one was a spinoff of the other - Kinnear and Barry Pepper (Robert Kennedy) sound awfully like Mayor Quimby nearly every time they speak. At some of the most poignant moments, I've been laughing hard* at their accents :D

I really enjoyed Outback Kids too, but I thought it ended too quickly. Hope they revisit the kids in twelve months time.

Interesting too - if not mentioned already - that the series has not been shown in the US to date.

I'm spewing I missed this, I only saw half of one episode, i stumbled upon it by accident and it's on at the same time as Downton Abbey.

But yes, the Kennedy boys doing almost perfect Quimby impersonations made me giggle to.

No doubt the DVD will be in the shops soon, I'll see it then

One show I've been starting to follow when I'm home is Who do you think you are, yesterdays guy could trace himself back to a direct decendant of William the Conquerer

Doesn't your ABC have one of those VOD iPlayer services where you can watch stuff you missed on their website??? Might be worth seeing if you can watch it that way.

Did anyone see that show that John Pilger hosted at 10pm on Tuesday night on SBS about the media's role in wars.

Mind blowing stuff I thought.

Yeah was amazing, probably the best docu i have seen this year.

Just finished watching 'Kids Fight Club' was about 7-10 year olds who are fighting for different titles throughout Europe in Thai Kick Boxing, talks to the kids and parents and follows them after they win and lose.

Very entertaining and offers lots of discussion points!
