Posted: Sun May 22, 2011 12:37 amOne of Australia's greatest actors - could play a variety of roles, whether it be underworld figure (and Vinegar Tit's first love interest) George Lucas in Prisoner, the corrupt Bill Heslop in Muriel's Wedding or Bob (who could forget his 'wife' Cynthia) in Priscilla, he portrayed the characters he played with amazing excellence.

Posted: Mon May 23, 2011 10:14 amHad the pleasure of meeting the man a couple of years and wasn't sure what to expect. What I got was one of nature's true gentlemen who could talk knowledgeably on a range of subjects and took a genuine interest in those around him. Truly one out the box. RIP Bill.
