How's the hoo ha around this movie?

On every bloody talk show and current affairs programme all week so far. At least they haven't had to shell out much for advertising I guess!

Went and seen a free premier screening on Wednesday night, had some hilarious moments and had some not so funny bits, was a more serious movie than i was expecting. Nicolas Cage plays a great role and the little girl from my links in the favourite quotes thread is great as well.

Definatly worth a look.

What's not to like about an 11-year old kid going on a violent and bloody rampage?

Great moofie.
Hilarious and brutal.
Loved Hitgirl. She's a gun.

Is it an Ivan Reitmann moofie? He is a great director of moofies.

Todd Phillips (Starsky & Hutch, The Hangover) might have something to say about that!

Though Reitman EP'd it.

Still, he directed some great comedies - Stripes, Ghostbusters, Twins, Kindergarten Cop.

Not too sure about Ghostbusters III but...

You're probably right MP. Just remember seeing his name in the credits.
