Where They Are Now

Been noticing on TV a lot more lately, some of the noted names of 70's and 80's TV in Australia, appearing in ads and the like.

Ian Turpie and Brian Wenzel (Sgt Gilroy, A Country Practice) have both been in ads for er, men's bedroom related products.

Zoe Bertram (Olivia from the Restless Years) is in the current APIA campaign, painting the house with her husband.

Wondering how many more of the old familiar faces are out there, spruiking products?

Joanna Moore who was a favourite on channel 9 kids shows in the 80's has been doing voice over a lot over the last few years.

I quite often hear Stefan Dennis from Neighbours doing voiceover work.

Haven seen Kingswood Country's Ross Higgins doing ads for a few years but he was quite prolific 15 years ago.

I believe she also appeared in Prisoner for a while, as either Roxy or Brandy (can't remember the name), anyhoo, she was the prostitute who ended up going out with Megs son, Marty and nearly drove Meg mad...

Ross Higgins was, and always will be "Louie the Fly" :D

Gotta say i don't miss hearing that phrase screaming out of my wireless!
I asked one of his former offsiders what become of him last year at the footy....think a comment related to a recently deceased entertainer was the reason for his lack of presence on our airwaves!
