Saw an interview with Quincy Jones where he said Jackson started wielding his clout while recording this album and had more say in production.

Not necessarily a good thing...

Was certainly never a 'fan' and never bought any of his lp's/discs but then I've never been so into music that I could be called a fan of anyone. I probably admired and pitied him in equal measure.

I liked some of his songs and not so keen on others and if I ever have to listen to 'Ben' again I'll probably do my impression of Michael Douglas in Falling Down.
