Just following on from the "Moments in TV" thread - has there been a production company in the last 20 years of TV that has had a greater impact on Australian TV than Working Dog Productions?

The team behind The Panel; Frontline; The Late Show; The Hollowmen; Thank God You're Here; Funky Squad; The Castle; The Dish and many others. Rob Sitch, Jane Kennedy, Tom Gleisner and Santo Cilauro would have to be one of Australia's biggest comedic influences, ahead of many competitors.

The fact that the group has been working together so long and still producing such biting satire is credit to their work, especially given that Sitch and Kennedy have been long term personal partners as well as working ones.

What would I give for them to make one more full season of "Frontline".... :)

What I would give to have some Frontline with Jane ;)

Sorry to lower the tone.

However, I was having these same thoughts about Working Dog the other night. Prodigious out put.
Sadly, Rove is taking on a similar status in the industry - the little dwarf.

Southern Star is a monster.

Freehand, Cordell-Jigsaw, Fremantle, Vertigo, Zapruder - they're always getting stuff up.

Sometimes of dubious quality...
