Really enjoyed that last night.
Had experiences with people who suffer with manic depression and the way she spewed forth comment reminded me of that.
If only the people I knew could revert back to their normal self the way she did.
Did they actually say what her disorder is in the show?

I caught the last 15 mins and thought it was pretty good...

Don't know how I'd go with a mum like Buck though...

Don't know what the show is like but the disorder would probably be dissociative identity disorder which is the term for multiple personalities.

If you ever want to watch a serious (ie not comedy) film about the subject then try one called Sybil starring Sally Field and Joanne Woodward. Sally Field is brilliant in it and I believe it's based on a real person.

Watched the first 15 mins (which I had missed) on ABC2 last night. Good show and I'll certainly be watching next week...

I wish Mrs Clarrie would act a bit like 'T'!

Smarter than your average sitcom.

Toni Collette is probably the best actress in the world.

Just needs a 'big' role for award voters to really take notice...

Agree with all comments concerning Toni Collette, very clever program, just proves the yanks can make decent TV when they put their minds to it

Ashy as there was already thread about this show (not obvious from the thread title) I've merged it into yours to save anyone from reposting comments into yours...in case you're wondering what's going on ;)

** BUMP **

Series 2 screening on the ABC.

Last night's ep was a crack-up.

Then again, any ep with Buck is a crack-up.

But Jarrett, Kate's co-worker at the debt collection agency, stole the show.

"She can string me up by my baaallsack!"

=))
