I couldn't pick one particular moment the segments of Funny Fotos were good. Of course Red Faces and Plucka Duck. ;)

I'd like to know why it took so long to entertain the thought of it coming back? I know when the AFL started having regular Saturday night matches I watched them instead of Hey Hey, but definitely nowadays I'd be watching Hey Hey.

maybe HEY HEY could come on during the summer if it didnt want to compete with the AFL

i always remember a poet and young kid reciting a poem - names are on the tip of my tongue - bartholemew or something..........

red faces

if they bring back HEY HEY, bring back ITSA KNOCKOUT - remember waking up at 6am on the weekends to watch the repeats

Raymond J Bartholemew - he was brilliant. Now co host of SBS's RockWiz.

Mine was Plucka - being stupid.

Anyone remember the band member Animal (I think) who used to do 'walk throughs' during all skits/acts?

Faith No More doing Evidence on the show and during it Mike Patton quite audibly telling someone else in the band to "shut the f**k up man".

Beat me to it you bugger. Probably a good show in its day (that's me being diplomatic) but it really was very tired towards the end. Best let it go.

Used to enjoy it as a kid, but IMO a comeback has 'disaster' written all over it.

After seeing Daryl host Dancing With The Stars, I've come to the conclusion that along with Rove, he is the most annoying person on TV...

Hey Hey will work again dunno about it with dags. I would love to see it back but it needs to be different and completely new. You can revive certain things Red Faces, Plucka Duck minor things but you need a complete revamp of the show. Interesting with channel 9 considering revamping this show when funniest home videos is still going and is still crap.

As much as I loved the show, Im not too sure it would work again in this era, particularly in the same time slot competing against a LOT more live sport (and Pay TV) than it did 20 years ago.
