It was probably great if you're also a Coronation Street fan as well ...but as I'm not I didn't think much of it...just seemed a bit desperate, like an '80s band come back tour :?

As a Red Dwarf fan/nerd (got all the dvds/videos/books and a whole bunch of other red dwarf stuff) I have seen the 3 new episodes and to say I am disapointed is an understatement, there was no comedy in it wasnt impressed with the new chick, was disapointed there was no holly. If this was what was they submitted I can see why the BBC didnt give them a ninth season, however I also feel if the BBC had of given them a ninth season what they produced would of been very diffrent. I will buy it when it comes out on dvd just to keep my collection up but I doubt that I will ever watch it, it was almost bad enough that the two US piolts were better and that is saying something because they were shite. Unfortunatly Red Dwarf is not what it use to be. :(

I just watched it and it was crap, kinda like a bad muppets movie.
(and I was a big fan of the books and original TV series)

Not just you...it's been repested on tv several times now and I've yet to meet anyone who has a good word to say about it...be them male, female, adult, child, former RD addict or newcomer.
