It has been great with the news sports channel, but when are other channels coming in?
I have heard that ABC will dedicate one of it's channels to 24 hour children's TV.
Also heard SBC are dedicating one of their channels to a 24 hour World Movies channel.
Anyone else heard whats happening with this Digital TV and it's Channels, what type of channel is it? whens the channel telecasting etc?

You know it JB.
Yet they still advertise HD channels on local tv.
And, to top it off, we get a stupid ad. on WIN 10 which says "WIN 10 wishes to advise that some HD programs may not be available in all areas".
No sh*t!
HD tv can go and gefugged!

Well don't get your knickers in a knot too tight as Country SA is one of the first areas to change over permanently in 2010.
So it gets here soon for you country bumpkins whilst the city slickers have until 2013 before they have too switch over

Too true but when you're paying good money to get your product shown on One HD, then unfortunately we have to lump it.
Still a bit of talk around that there might be some NBL shown on One HD from next season.

Yeah, seeing it's free I suppose I can't (but I will) complain. I only like it for the NBA games, even then they cut it off as soon as the final buzzer goes. No chance of any post-game celebrations. Have to watch NBA 360 to see any of that. Piss poor. Oh well!!

Yeah they do kinda understandably like to cut things off quickly to try and fit as many ads in as possible. One thing that I can't handle is during the replays of the NBA games at night they bring up their Sports Tonight updates telling you the result during the ad breaks. That is pretty unprofessional.

Sorry mate, that doesn't mean anything. We'll only be getting one additional channel at this stage. And we're being told, currently, that it will be a combination of what's being served up by the three commercial networks.
