Whats your favourite Simpsons Episode?

Postby Footy Chick » Wed Nov 09, 2005 12:33 pm

Being a huge Simpsons fan, was just wondering what everyones fave episode was, or even your favourite quote.

My Personal favourite for too many reasons to mention is Marge v. the Monorail...

"I gave my love a chicken, it had no bones....mmmm...chicken"

My fave is when Homer becomes Lurlene Lumpkin's manager.

'Marge, you make it seem so seamy. All I did was sit in her trailer and watch her try on some outfits' LOL.

Another favourite quote is

'You kissed a girl! That is so gay' ha ha.

regards,

The "All you can eat" restaurant.

In the courtroom,"Anybody order a pizza?"

Homer in the dock,"Yep,over here."

"Mrs.Simpson, after you left the restaurant, can you explain to the court what you and your husband did?"

"We drove around looking for a pizza joint."

"Then","Mrs.Simpson?"

"We went fishing."

"Do these sound like the actions of a man that had had all he could eat"

And,Santas little helper riding the other dog,Bart"Cmon boy,you can make it!"

This is the end of dog racing as we know it....

Clearly the greatest TV show to EVER grace our screens.

There are so many great episodes in the first 6 or 7 series but I think it's a really poor imitation of what it was. Too many guest stars, Homer is just obnoxious where he used to be endearing and every episode has the whole cast in it probably to sell action toys.

I like Lisa the Vegetarian where the kids watch Troy McClure visiting 'Bovine University'. Classic!

My favourite line? "It was the best of times, it was the BLURST of times??? You stupid monkey!"
"A no vote from any club means there is some sort of risk involved in our entry into the competition not working," Steven Trigg.

Homer: ....and he got two male pandas and got them to mate successfully!

Mr.Burns: And a stunt like that impresses people?

Homer: Oh yeah. And I'm not easily impressed...wow, a blue car!

The 200th episode is a very good one- Homer takes over as Chief Of Sanitation. I love the intro to Ray Patterson, a band strikes up, he gets on stage & humbly accepts that his predictions were correct- then tells everyone to get stuffed. The band strikes up again. I got this video for x-mas '99, and pissed myself laughing as I watched that portion repeatedly. I generally find the first 2-3 mins to be hilarious, and generally have nothing to do with the actuall "story" for the episode. Another moment, is when Mr Burns is paying Homer to humiliate himself, and he dresses as a Panda. The Panda attempts to mate with Homer, much to the crowds delight.

The best thing about the simpsons is that picture in the photo shop where you have to pick out homer, bart, marg and anyone else..? The one with 1000 simpson characters in it..? The one that takes you 10 minutes to try and find someone only to give up because someone might see you and think you haven't got a life, only to do the same thing when its time to go shopping the next week......... Ha.. I hate the simpsons on TV but that picture gets me everytime......!
Smile :)

When the porter shows them to their room and points out the "King size bed" and implys it be used for sex

homer says

"Stop That....I love my wife and family.... All i'll be using this bed for is eating, sleeping and maybe building a little fort...thats it!!!"
